Introduction To The Model Of Vane Rotary Dampers

A two-dimensional local sliding friction contact model is established by using a parallel spring with a sliding contact to simulate the frictional contact between blades and dampers in two-dimensional planar motions. The finite element model of G (Blade-ground) type vane-edge plate damper is established by attaching two vertical spring damping units to the blade flange plate to simulate the two-dimensional dry friction force in blade vibration.Vane Rotary Dampers

Combined with two models, a method for analyzing the damping characteristics of Blade edge plate damper in two-dimensional coupled vibration is presented. An example analysis shows that there is a positive pressure range near the operating frequency, so that the steady amplitude damping effect of the two-dimensional coupled vibration is the best, and the frequency has no obvious effect on the steady amplitude damping characteristics. The analysis method is suitable for the analysis of coupling vibration of blade edge plate damper in various complex plane friction contact.Vane Rotary Dampers The blade finite element model is set up, and two vertical spring damping units are added to the blade flange contact, which is used as the boundary condition of finite element calculation, and the frictional contact model and the finite element model are combined to establish the blade coupling vibration analysis method. The equivalent stiffness of the damper is increased first and then decreased with the increase of positive pressure under various external excitation, and the equivalent stiffness decreases with the increase of external excitation amplitude, and the equivalent damping is inconsistent with the external excitation amplitude. 

The vibration coupling is not exactly consistent with the equivalent stiffness and the damping variation law based on one-dimensional vibration. The best positive pressure makes the blade tip x, Y to steady amplitude has the best damping effect, the external excitation increases, the blade tip steady state amplitude achieves the best damping effect need to increase the positive pressure, conversely reduces, the X to achieves the best vibration damping effect need the positive pressure not to be very consistent. The vibration coupling makes the steady-state amplitude of the X-direction of the blade sharp better than the Y-direction.Vane Rotary Dampers
